“There comes a time when you ought to start doing what you want. Take a job that you love. You will jump out of bed in the morning. I think you are out of your mind if you keep taking jobs that you don’t like because you think it will look good on your resume. Isn’t that a little like saving up sex for your old age?” ― Warren Buffett

ought toYou ought to start doing what you want. Segundo o dicionário da Cambridge, o significado de ought to é bem parecido com should. Should é mais comum e informal. Você deveria começar a fazer o que quer.”
to start doing – Veja como fica o segundo verbo,  após “to start”: To start studying, to start working. Lembre-se: To start + verb + ing
out of your mindmad, crazy
to keep taking jobs – Continuar aceitando empregos. Veja como fica o segundo verbo, após “to keep”: To keep working, to keep going. Lembre-se: To keep + verb + ing

“I don’t like that man. I must get to know him better.” – Abraham Lincoln

O modal “must” é usado para mostrar que é necessário ou importante que algo aconteça, no presente ou no futuro. Lembre-se de não usar o “to” depois de “must”. Errado: I must to get to know. Correto: I must get to know. Você pode estar pensando: o que esta frase tem a ver com entrepreneurship (empreendedorismo)? Responda quantos aprendizados, pessoas e oportunidades perdemos na vida por nos restringirmos ao círculo de pessoas parecidas com a gente.

“If your business depends on you, you don’t own a business—you have a job. And it’s the worst job in the world because you’re working for a lunatic!”
― Michael E. Gerber, The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It

to depend on – Lembre-se: I depend on you, you depend on him. We depend on something.
to own – sinônimos: “to possess, to have, to be the owner”.

Fail fast = falir/fracassar rapidamente
Fail mindfully = falir/fracassar conscientemente

O que a apresentadora diz: “We must remember that businesses are made of people, businesses are not entities that appear and disappear magically without consequences”. Leticia Gasca

5 ways to kill your dreams

O que a apresentadora diz: “Believe in overnight success, believe someone else has the answers for you, believe that when growth is guaranteed, you should settle down, believe the fault is someone else’s, and believe that only the goals themselves matter. Believe me, you do that, and you will destroy your dreams.” Bel Pesce

How to find work you love

O que  apresentador diz: “Speaking of Gandhi (…) and he was called to a greater cause (…) , and he has this quote that I absolutely live by. “First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Scott Dinsmore
