Thank you, next

Thought I will end up with Sean
But he wasn’t a match
Wrote some musics about Ricky
Now I listen and laughter
Even almost got married
And for Pete, I’m so thankfull
Wish I could tell thank you to Malcolm
‘Cause he was an angel

One taught to me love
One taught for me patience
And one taught me pain
Now, I’m so amazing
Say I’ve loved and I’ve lost
But that’s not what I see
So, look what I got
Look what you taught me
And for that, I say

Thank you, next (next)

Confira suas respostas

Thought I’d end up with Sean
Comentários:
I think I will / I thought I would (ou I’d)
Eu acho que vou / Eu achava que iria.

Wrote some songs about Ricky
Comentários:
music – incontável: I like/ I study music
song – contável: I love this song

Now I listen and laugh
Comentários:
laughter – risada, gargalhada (substantivo)
to laugh – rir, gargalhar (verbo)

And for Pete, I’m so thankful
Veja outros exemplos: wonderful, hopeful, grateful, careful, thoughtful, colorful, powerful, useful

Wish I could say thank you to Malcolm
Comentários:
“You say something to someone” or “You tell someone something”

One taught me love. One taught me patience
Comentários:
You teach (past: taught) me, teach him, teach her, teach us. Não precisa usar o “to”.
Or
You teach something to somebody: He teaches English to advanced students.

Agora, ouça a música e veja o clipe:
